BALLET
ISTD
Ballet is a theatrical dance that features highly formalized steps and movements. It uses body movements, music, and stage scenery to speak emotions, a story, an atmosphere, or a theme.
At Stars of the Stage we follow the ISTD syllabus allowing our students to dance for fun following Standard Ballet but also allow those to take graded examinations and progress to a career within Performing Arts if that route is suited towards their capability and route.
Our Ballet lessons aim to build Childrens technical ability and understanding of why the core of dance 'Ballet' is is important to have to 'innate a sense of pose, grace, musicality, and a joy to dance'.
